Ricky Pak

Ricky worked as a professional actor in Los Angeles for nearly 18 years on stage and on camera. He obtained his MFA in Acting for Television, Film and Theatre at California State University- Los Angeles. He successfully combined his love for teaching and performing working as a teaching artists for regional theaters in Southern California and working as an adjunct professor in the Southland. All the while, still maintaining a professional profile as a performer, writer, and director.
While teaching at Syracuse University, he has maintained his professional artistic profile. Most recently he appeared in the Syracuse Stage production of "Our Town and directed an immersive horror production called "Ghost Ship" for the Department of Drama. While currently preparing for promotion to Associate Professor with tenure, Ricky will be teaching a Professional Development Institute for Tectonic in New York City.
He is a member of SAG/AFTRA and has appeared in tv shows, commercials, and films, most recently "I Love My Dad" on Hulu. He is currently the Artistic Director and Founder of the Circle Squared Collective, a company that seeks to bring diverse voices to a new generation of audience members. He is also a teaching artist for the Tectonic Theater Project based in New York City teaching their unique brand of devised theatre called Moment Work. He is currently a tenure track Assistant Professor of Acting at Syracuse University.
